Sofwave Pre & Post Care Instructions
The results from your SofWave procedure can be observed within 12 weeks, continuing for up to 6 months.
A follow-up treatment is recommended at 6 months to maintain optimal results.
Before Your Treatment:
- Please arrive with a clean face and no makeup.
- Discontinue use of tretinoin, retinol, and Vitamin C for 1 week prior to treatment.
- Avoid all Botox, filler, or facial treatments for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- All male or excessively dark facial hair needs to be shaved 24 hours prior.
POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Makeup can be applied immediately after the treatment.
- Wait 24 hours post-treatment to use any tretinoin, retinol, or vitamin C as part of your skincare routine.
- You may resume all normal activities at any time after the treatment.
- Refrain from using any anti-inflammatory medications (i.e. Ibuprofen) recommended for 2 weeks following the treatment unless absolutely necessary.
